Great communicators are those that are really effective in their interaction, understand the unsaid part of the communication of another, and pitch their own communications in ways that will have the most effect and achieve the greatest chance of success. This workshop is designed to develop existing skills and give you new skills and tools to enhance your communication effectiveness.
There are several key threads within these workshops which link together to deepen understanding:
- Verbal Skills: How the word can both inform and mislead, and presenting information and ideas in ways that match the listener
- Listening: Developing your active and passive listening skills to gain rapport
- Unseen Voices: The use of the telephone and teleconferences. How communication when the two parties cannot see each other varies from face-to-face communication, the problems that can arise and how to avoid them
- E-mail: a short session about email communication, and getting the most from it.
