FREE School Energy Saving Project

There is an exciting opportunity for 20 Southend schools to take part in the EU funded 2IMPREZS project, which will provide you with the opportunity to reduce your energy use by 30%, save associated costs and improve your schools’ learning environment by improving lighting (switch to LED lighting) and heating controls.

In addition you will playing a part in reducing Southend on Sea’s carbon emissions. Your pupils will have  the opportunity to design and deliver a carbon saving programme, whilst receiving learning materials and talks from leading adventurers, scientists and conservationists on topics such as climate change, plastic pollution and sustainable energy. 

 

This is all FREE!

Deadline for expressions of interest is Wednesday 21st February 2018.
